Here you are going to find former poachers who, through Red Rocks initiative to preserve the wildlife and environment, are now supporting their families legitimately through tourism. Through education and skill development, these guides are going to take you to a village itinerary where you are going to meet the local people, and they now act as translators through their English communication skills they have developed at Red Rocks.
Practice Your Weaving skills
It’s not just about weaving that we have here at Red Rocks. Local women are going to take you through the process of making different attractive Rwandan art and craft that are known for their sheer beauty. You can weave along as they guide you through the whole process. You can cook with them, eat with them and laugh with them for this is the true nature of African culture: doing things together.
